Portion size adjustment on the way!

Average 96 ounces of water a day

Average 80 ounces of coffee a day – YIKES  never looked at it in ounces before especially not next to the water – ok will start working on that one!

Dinner was the meal I was most proud during.  My two young kids eat very little, traditionally, I eat my entire plate then I grab some of theirs when they are done with it.

Sound Familiar?

Dinner this evening was the feel good moment.  We had an oven roasted pork chop, steamed broccoli and rice.  I plated myself, then cut some of my pork chop off for each child and followed suit for the rice – we each had a strong portion of broccoli – LOVE THAT STUFF!   Just looking at it I knew I had a better portion size and wasn’t about to eat myself full for the desire to go plunge onto the couch like a high diver in the Olympics.  Nope not tonight!

Tonight I worked on being a better husband – hung some shelves to help my wife organize her purses – that will be an entire different post at some point BUT for now – took the top purses, filled them with a brown wrapping paper and displayed them out on freshly hung shelves.  BOOM to being a, wait for it, wait for it, #betterhusband   OHHHH and shall we add #activedad  that’s right, the kids helped!

Today didn’t wake up in the morning, sad face me BUT I reallocated my lunch break to a five mile run, ooohhhhh yeah snap into some CELERY!
